The importance of functional assessment: the workshop at Canottieri Olona 1894

The value of functional measurement and assessment during physical activity is not only relevant to professional athletes, but it is also crucial for amateur sports enthusiasts. HPM addressed this topic during the workshop Functional Testing, Assessment, and Training, held at Canottieri Olona 1894, where methods and services offered by our organization to enhance athletic performance were explored, guiding athletes and sports enthusiasts, even at the amateur level, through re-athletization paths, rehabilitation, and longevity.

After the greetings from the president of the Milanese club, Luigi Summa, the founders of High-Performance Method, Stefano Maldifassi and Luca Temperini, presented their innovative business model based on a unique proprietary software. This system can autonomously learn, process data, and predict the optimal path for each individual. Particularly, the focus was on functional assessment, which includes postural, baropodometric, strength, and movement analyses.

In the second part of the workshop, during the debate moderated by Andrea Pernice, concrete experiences were shared involving prominent figures from the sports world such as Riccardo Magrini, a cycling commentator and former professional, and Riccardo Montolivo, a former Serie A footballer and Italian national team player.
