FISG: Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games goal

With the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games approaching, the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio (Italian Ice Sports Federation) has identified a group of skaters that it will support in the coming years. In this context, HPM took on the task of assessing and monitoring the physical performance of some 40 athletes in the figure skating sector. The aim is to provide coaches with a tool for monitoring their state of efficiency, in order to better guide each individual’s sporting growth.

HPM’s contribution runs throughout the entire sporting season, with three assessments per year. This approach allows direct interaction with coaches and athletic trainers, who receive reports on the development of key performance and structural data. The ability to numerically reconstruct the identity of each athlete facilitates the growth and development individuals, allowing coaches to gain a better understanding of the girls and boys competing for top performance. An individual and group reporting phase is an integral part of every assessment opportunity.
