The HPM team continues to grow

Three new professionals have joined the HPM team, further strengthening our expertise in physical preparation and athlete care.

Filippo Righetti brings a background as a massage therapist and a degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences, and is currently completing his studies in Osteopathy. His professional journey began in competitive swimming with Nuoto Riccione and the Swim Pro SS9 project, an experience he now applies as a certified FIN instructor. The integration of manual therapy, movement science and an osteopathic perspective allows Filippo to contribute effectively to injury prevention and performance enhancement.

Francesca Aquilino joins HPM with a strong international academic and professional background. After earning her degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences at Università Cattolica in Milan, she completed a Master’s degree in Preventive and Adapted Physical Activity, followed by a Master’s in Health, Kinesiology & Sports Studies in the United States. She is also completing a Master’s program in Clinical Posturology. Francesca has conducted research at a Human Performance Laboratory and competed internationally in track and field. Her work, presented at international scientific conferences, focuses on neuromotor and biomechanical analysis in sport. At HPM, she strengthens the area dedicated to applied research in performance and injury prevention.

Lorenzo Sanvito is a physiotherapist, graduated in Lugano, with a Master’s degree in Sports Rehabilitation. He is currently completing the SPT and CSCS certifications. His passion for basketball, swimming and volleyball has guided his specialization in injury prevention and return-to-play pathways. Lorenzo has gained experience in leading hospital settings, including Policlinico di Monza, Ospedale San Gerardo and Ospedale Maggiore di Novara, working with patients across different levels of complexity. Alongside his hospital experience, he runs a private clinical practice focused on orthopedic, traumatic and rheumatologic conditions. A mountain and winter sports enthusiast, he is also a certified FIP basketball referee. His expertise in Return to Sport, combined with his direct knowledge of the sporting environment, makes him a valuable asset in the rehabilitation journey of HPM athletes.
