HPM – High Performance Method and Blu Basket Bergamo together for the new season
The collaboration begins with Blu Basket, the men’s A2 basketball team, which, during the press presentation in Bergamo of its new project for the 2025/26 season, has set itself the goal of returning to the top league.
The collaboration develops across three main areas, each designed to meet the specific needs of the Bergamo roster. At the heart of the project is the biomechanics laboratory, which will allow for the assessment of the physical characteristics of each player and the monitoring of their fitness throughout the season. In this initial phase, it is essential for understanding each athlete’s strengths and areas for improvement. When necessary, it will be a valuable tool to support players in their recovery from injuries, personalizing rehabilitation programs according to specific needs.
The second aspect of the collaboration concerns the integrated management of information. HPM provides a platform that connects medical data, performance metrics, and functional evaluations of the athletes. This system enables a comprehensive view of each player and provides useful insights both for the daily work of the technical staff and for the club’s decision-making.
The third component focuses on monitoring workloads. Through specific technologies, it will be possible to track the physical effort of the athletes during training sessions and games, but also in daily life. The goal is to promptly identify signs of fatigue or situations that could lead to injuries, allowing training programs to be adapted accordingly.
The collaboration with Blu Basket further confirms how science and objective data are fundamental for sports performance, in this case in basketball, where multiple aspects must be monitored during the various fundamentals performed on the court. The integration of biomechanical analysis, data management, and continuous monitoring aims to improve the preparation and care of the players, contributing to the team’s sporting objectives through a data-driven approach and specific methodologies.
